What we look for in a partner dealer

How the onboarding works

  1. Apply. Fill in the form below. A partnerships officer will call you within two business days.
  2. Dealer visit. We visit your forecourt to meet the team, see the stock, and understand how you operate.
  3. Due diligence. We verify your business registration, KRA compliance, and references. Usually 3–5 days.
  4. Partner agreement. Signed commission structure, training schedule, and operational SLA.
  5. Launch. Your staff get trained, co-branded collateral is delivered, and you start processing Mobifarm applications usually within three weeks of first contact.
Dealer economics On an average boda-boda loan, a partner dealer earns commission at disbursement plus a performance bonus if the rider keeps paying on schedule. Our best-performing dealers are doing 15–30 financed sales per month, on top of their cash sales.

Questions dealers ask

How is commission paid?

Commission is a percentage of each funded loan, paid monthly into your bank account. The exact rate is confirmed in your partner agreement and varies with volume. High-performing dealers earn more per unit; new partners start at the standard rate.

What happens if a rider I referred defaults?

Default is our problem, not yours — the credit risk is entirely Mobifarm's. However, if first-payment defaults on loans you originated spike above a threshold, we'll review together to understand why. The reward structure is designed to align our interests without penalising you for ordinary risk.

Do I have to deal with repayments?

No. Once the loan disburses, all repayment handling is Mobifarm's. The rider pays us, not you. You go back to selling bikes.

Can I refer riders even without being a partner?

Yes — message us on WhatsApp and we'll register you as a referral source. Commission structure is different from the full partner agreement but the door is open.
